Responsive CSS Navigation Menu
Apr 4th 2012
This navigation menu uses media queries to achieve a fluid, responsive design that easily adapts to any size viewport and device. Three color variations dare included, each with animated hover styles.
Four free third party resources were used for this menu. The first is a custom font served up via Google Web Fonts.
The second resource is Selectivizr, a JavaScript library that brings CSS3 selector support to IE6-8. Selectivizr requires another major library to function so MooTools in included as well.
Finally, html5shiv is used to bring the “nav” element to IE.

How it Works
It’s pretty simple. Any free resources are just that — completely free for you to use, incorporate in your designs, and build upon. Go nuts!
Featured commercial resources are available through the Envato marketplaces, which we love. Find out more.
